Jim Breuer Fort Wayne Concert reviews
Distasteful Anti-masker, Anti-vaxer Dinosaur
The large majority of the show was dedicated to jokes making light of the pandemic, death, and illness surrounding the pandemic. I didn't realize he was such an anti-masker, anti-vaxxer, anti-LGBT, dinosaur. The whole thing felt like I was stuck in the Facebook comments section written by pro-trump, science denying lunatics. I can take a joke, but with a crowd of (unmasked!) people cheering wildly at the jokes aimed at those who take the pandemic seriously and have lost loved ones to COVID, it was not very funny. The show got better towards the end but I couldn't help but look around the audience and wonder if I was going to get a breakthrough case of COVID from this crowd. I wish the venue required proof of vaccination because it was such an anti-mask crowd and the honor system wasn't exactly reassuring.
